Tasting Notes:
This Cabernet Sauvignon was grown at an elevation of more than 1,500 feet. The soil, a rich, volcanic red, is well-drained allowing for precise irrigation at the most important stages of ripening.
This wine opens with rich aromas of blackberry jam, cassis and mocha. The Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon also holds hints of sandalwood and vanilla. On the palate lies concentrated flavors of cherry and spice, with velvety tannins and subtle notes of leather–pairing well with roasted meat and dark chocolate.
